You will find a complete listing of Fusion '09 Sessions & Workshops below. Pre & Post-Convention Training Classes will be posted in the next few weeks. Simply read through the list of sessions each day and mark those that you plan to attend.

After you've made your agenda selections, you will have the option to (1) View your agenda, (2) Browse/Modify your agenda, (3) Save your agenda, and (4) Print your agenda. Please note that you can modify your agenda if you wish to change your selections at a later time.

If you wish to attend any Pre-Convention Workshops on Sunday, 9/20 (with one on Tuesday 9/22), please select them in your agenda builder. **Please note: a capacity limit may be applied and priority will be given to those who have selected these in their agenda builder. If you wish to attend any Pre/Post-Convention Training Classes on Saturday - Sunday, 9/19 - 9/20, or Wednesday - Sunday, 9/23 - 9/27, these courses require additional payment. Should you select these optional sessions for inclusion in your personal agenda, you will be directed to login to your registration record to add and pay for your desired agenda selections. Again, please stay tuned for more information on these Training Courses in the next few weeks.

TRACK 2 - ACHIEVING OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE THROUGH CONTINUAL SERVICE IMPROVEMENT (CSI)
Are you looking for how to be more efficient and effective in providing services to the business? Various industries will provide real-world experiences in the different activities which can be applied to a Continual Service Improvement plan. They will reveal lessons learned and techniques which improved process effectiveness, efficiency, and effectiveness.

TRACK 3 - SERVICE OPERATIONS WITH A SIDE OF CHANGE
Service Operations’ goal is to fulfill activities and processes required to manage services for business users and customers under agreed upon service levels. The controls that help manage those activities are overseen by Change Management. Bringing these components together will increase the benefits and improve sustainable services. In this track you will learn critical steps to ensure effectiveness through communication, knowledge gathering, and taking it one step at a time.

TRACK 4 - SERVICE PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT: YOUR QUICKEST ROUTE TO GREATER BUSINESS VALUE
Service Portfolio is used to manage the entire Lifecycle of all Services, and includes three Categories: Service Pipeline (proposed or in Development); Service Catalog (Live or available for Deployment); and Retired Services. This track consists of a blend of technology and process driven best practices sessions that focus on various stages of an IT services and their alignment to business needs in order to guarantee the safeguarding of the business goals in the various life-cycle phases.

TRACK 5 - KPIS AND PERFORMANCE METRICS: MEASURING IT'S VALUE TO THE BUSINESS
Today’s economic climate puts IT under greater pressure to demonstrate business value. This becomes a challenge if IT is not collecting and measuring the right KPIs and performance metrics. Learn from ITSM practitioners on how they were able to communicate effectively with the business in order to know what was important to measure and how to report the results.

TRACK 6 - IT MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORKS: MOVING BEYOND ITIL
There are many IT management frameworks and best practices besides ITIL, many of them overlapping and at times conflicting. Selecting the right (elements of) frameworks and figuring out how to make them work together can be a daunting task. In this track you will gain insight in how to leverage and/or enhance your IT Service Management program while deploying other frameworks.

TRACK 7 - GOVERNANCE AND IT FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: KEYS TO RUNNING IT LIKE A BUSINESS
In today's tight-money economic conditions it is imperative that IT be able to demonstrate its value to the business, justify its expenditures and continue to lower operating costs. New initiatives, including Service Management initiatives must compete for a limited number of investment dollars. PRE-CONVENTION WORKSHOPS & FORUMS
These two-hour Workshops and Forums are offered on Sunday, September 20, with an additional one being held Tuesday, September 22. If you are interested in attending, please register for the workshop or forum below. Although pre-registration is not a requirement, space is limited. We will be allowing in those who pre-registered first. If space permits, we will allow other attendees to fill any open slots onsite.
